PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Toggler SnapSkru Mini Self-Drilling Plasterboard Anchor

The Toggler SnapSkru Mini is a compact self-drilling anchor designed for fixing suitable lightweight fixtures and accessories to compatible plasterboard and drywall. Its self-drilling point allows the anchor to be driven directly into suitable board under normal installation conditions.

As the compatible screw is installed, the anchor locks into the board to create a secure fixing point. The Mini format is intended for applications where a compact plasterboard anchor is appropriate.

Key benefits

  • Compact anchor: Mini format for suitable lightweight plasterboard applications.
  • Self-drilling installation: designed to cut into compatible plasterboard without a separate pilot hole under normal conditions.
  • Positive locking action: locks into the board as the screw is installed.
  • Anti-rotation design: helps resist spinning during installation.
  • Removable screw: the screw can be removed when the fixture needs to be taken down.
  • Simple installation: fitted using an appropriate hand or powered driving tool with controlled speed and torque.

Typical applications

  • Pictures and decorative items
  • Small wall-mounted accessories
  • Lightweight brackets and fittings
  • Suitable electrical accessories
  • General maintenance and installation work

Suitability and safe loading depend on the plasterboard type, thickness and condition, fixing spacing, screw engagement, fixture and loading direction. Do not publish a universal load rating without verified technical data for the exact installation.

Installation guidance

  1. Confirm that the wall is suitable plasterboard or drywall and is in sound condition.
  2. Check for concealed pipes and electrical cables.
  3. Mark the required fixing position.
  4. Place the SnapSkru Mini point against the board and drive it squarely into the surface.
  5. Stop when the anchor flange sits flush with the plasterboard. Do not overtighten.
  6. Position the fixture and insert a compatible screw.
  7. Tighten until the fixture is secure without crushing the board or stripping the anchor.

Use controlled driving speed and torque. If the manufacturer requires a pilot hole for a particular board type or installation condition, follow that instruction.

Frequently asked questions

What is the SnapSkru Mini used for?

It is a compact self-drilling anchor for mounting suitable lightweight fixtures and accessories to compatible plasterboard or drywall.

What is the difference between SnapSkru Mini and SnapSkru SP?

The Mini is the compact model. The SP is a separate SnapSkru size. Do not assume that their screw ranges, dimensions or load performance are identical.

Is a pilot hole required?

The SnapSkru Mini is designed for self-drilling installation into suitable plasterboard under normal conditions. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific board and application.

What screw size should be used?

The current Mini product record specifies compatible screw sizes of 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm and 5.0mm. Do not copy the standard SP model’s screw range without confirmation.

Are screws included?

The current product record does not confirm that a screw is included. Check the packaging for the exact pack contents before publishing an included-screw claim.

Can it be used in brick or concrete?

No. The SnapSkru Mini is intended for compatible plasterboard and drywall. Use a fixing designed for masonry, brick or concrete when working with those materials.

Can the screw be removed?

Yes. The screw can be removed when the fixture needs to be taken down. Inspect the anchor and wall before reusing the fixing point.

How much weight can it support?

The safe working load depends on the board, installation, fixing spacing, fixture and loading direction. Use only verified manufacturer data for the exact installation.
