Blum 71B7650 CLIP top BLUMOTION 155° Dual Half-Overlay Hinge – Screw-On

The Blum 71B7650 is a 155° wide-angle CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge for dual and half-overlay cabinet-door applications. Its half-cranked hinge arm is designed for installations where two doors share a central cabinet partition and each door partially overlays the panel.

The generous 155° opening provides significantly better access than a conventional 110° hinge, making it an excellent choice for wide cabinets, larders and furniture containing internal drawers or pull-out fittings.

BLUMOTION soft closing is integrated discreetly into the hinge arm. It controls the door during the final stage of closing for a smooth, quiet movement and can be switched off at the hinge when necessary.

This version uses a conventional screw-on 35mm hinge cup for attaching the hinge to the door. The screw-on fixing is the hinge cup—not the cabinet mounting plate. A compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate must be selected separately.

Opening-angle restriction

The opening can be reduced where the full 155° movement would bring the door close to an adjacent wall, handle or appliance. HI70T7553 reduces the opening to approximately 110°, and HI70T755309 reduces it to approximately 92°.

What is a dual or half-overlay hinge?

A half-overlay hinge is used when two cabinet doors share the same central partition. Each door covers only part of the partition, allowing both doors to be fitted to the same panel.

Is the 71B7650 a full-overlay hinge?

No. The 71B7650 has a half-cranked arm for dual or half-overlay applications. The corresponding full-overlay screw-on hinge is the Blum 71B7550.

Does it include soft closing?

Yes. BLUMOTION soft closing is built into the hinge arm and can be deactivated when required.

What does screw-on fixing mean?

The 35mm hinge cup is secured to the cabinet door using screws. It does not mean the separate cabinet mounting plate is included.
