PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Blum 75T1650 CLIP Top 107° Half-Overlay Screw-On Hinge

The Blum 75T1650 is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge for dual or half-overlay cabinet doors. This application is commonly used where two doors are fitted on opposite sides of the same central cabinet partition.

The hinge combines a 107° opening angle with a shallow 11.5mm minimum cup drilling depth, making it suitable for cabinet fronts approximately 15–24mm thick.

Important: the 75T1650 is sprung and self-closing, but it does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close.

Dual and half-overlay application

The 9.5mm cranked hinge arm positions each door so that it covers approximately half of the shared cabinet partition. This allows two doors to operate from the same centre panel while maintaining the required gap between them.

The final overlay and door gap depend on the selected mounting-plate height, cup-drilling distance and cabinet construction. A trial installation is recommended before drilling several doors.

Conventional screw-on cup fixing

The 75T1650 has a conventional screw-on 35mm hinge cup. After drilling the cup hole, the hinge is positioned squarely in the door and secured through the two countersunk fixing holes.

This fixing method is particularly suitable for replacement work, small production runs and installations where conventional screws are preferred over INSERTA or mechanically pressed knock-in dowels.

Suitable cup-fixing screws should be selected for the door material and ordered separately unless expressly included with the chosen packaging.

CLIP top fitting and adjustment

Although the hinge cup is screw-fixed, the hinge arm connects to a compatible Blum mounting plate using Blum’s tool-free CLIP mechanism. This allows the door to be attached or removed without disturbing the mounting-plate screws.

Side, depth and height adjustment allow the doors to be aligned accurately across the shared cabinet partition.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Blum 75T1650 have soft-close?

No. The hinge has a closing spring but does not contain an integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damper.

What does dual or half overlay mean?

It means that two cabinet doors share the same central partition. The cranked hinge arm positions each door so that it covers approximately half of the shared panel.

Is this a screw-on hinge?

Yes. The 35mm hinge cup is secured to the door using two suitable countersunk fixing screws.

Are the cup-fixing screws included?

No. Suitable screws should be selected for the door material and ordered separately.

What drilling is required?

The hinge requires a 35mm cup hole with a minimum depth of 11.5mm. The recommended cup-drilling distance is between 3mm and 6mm.

What door thickness is suitable?

The hinge is suitable for cabinet fronts approximately 15–24mm thick. A trial fitting is recommended when using unusual materials or thick edge profiles.

What is the difference between 75T1650 and 75T1690B?

Both are sprung 107° half-overlay hinges without integrated soft-close. The 75T1650 has a screw-on cup, while the 75T1690B uses tool-free INSERTA cup fixing.

Is the mounting plate included?

No. A compatible Blum CLIP top mounting plate must be ordered separately.

Is the hinge sold individually?

Yes. Each quantity ordered supplies one Blum 75T1650 hinge.
