The Blum AVENTOS HK-XS 20K1301 stay-lift mechanism provides compact upward-opening support for small single-piece cabinet fronts. Its 500–1500 power-factor range covers intermediate HK-XS applications requiring more lifting force than the 20K1101 mechanism while retaining the range's space-saving design.

Stock code HI20K1301SET identifies this standard configuration. It is not the TIP-ON model and must not be presented as a handleless or push-to-open mechanism. The symmetrical lift mechanism can be installed on one side or, where the calculated application requires it, on both sides of the cabinet.

Compact support for upward-opening fronts

AVENTOS HK-XS is designed for small wall cabinets, tall-unit applications and overhead storage where internal space is limited. When the mechanism is correctly selected and adjusted, the cabinet front opens smoothly and can remain in a convenient intermediate position for easy access.

The standard opening angle is approximately 105°. The final movement also depends on the selected hinges, and hinges with a smaller opening angle will restrict the front accordingly. Correct hinges, mounting plates and application-specific fixing components are required to complete the cabinet installation.

Selecting the 500–1500 power factor

Power factor is calculated by multiplying the cabinet height in millimetres by the complete cabinet-front weight in kilograms, including the handle. The 500–1500 figure is therefore a calculated application range, not a weight in grams.

Blum states that the available power factor is doubled when a symmetrical HK-XS lift mechanism is used on both sides. Check current Blum planning information and use a trial application where the calculated requirement falls within an overlapping or borderline range.

Standard operation with compatible hinges

This 20K1301 standard mechanism is intended for applications using appropriate compatible sprung hinges. Soft and controlled closing is achieved in conjunction with suitable CLIP top BLUMOTION hinges; BLUMOTION is not integrated into the lift mechanism itself.

For a handleless cabinet front, use the separate 20K1301T TIP-ON medium-duty set with the required unsprung hinges and TIP-ON components. The TIP-ON version has a different power-factor range of 500–1200 and must not be treated as an interchangeable version of this product.
