Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION 110° Overlay INSERTA Hinge
The Blum 71B3590 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge combines an integrated soft-close mechanism with Blum's fast, tool-free INSERTA fixing system. Designed for standard overlay cabinet doors, it provides a 110° opening angle and controlled, quiet closing without requiring a separate damper.
The INSERTA steel hinge cup locks securely into the correctly prepared door drilling pattern without fixing screws. This makes the hinge particularly suitable for kitchen, bedroom and furniture manufacturing where fast, accurate and repeatable installation is required.
Once fitted to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, the door can be attached to or removed from the cabinet without tools. Side, depth and height adjustment provide accurate door alignment after installation.

Integrated BLUMOTION soft closing
BLUMOTION is incorporated directly into the hinge boss and closes the cabinet door smoothly and quietly. The mechanism adapts to different closing speeds and can be deactivated on individual hinges when a small or lightweight door requires less damping.
What is Blum INSERTA?
INSERTA is Blum's tool-free method of securing the hinge cup to the cabinet door. The hinge is inserted into a correctly prepared 35mm cup drilling with two 8mm fixing holes on 45mm centres. Closing the INSERTA locking flap expands the fixings and secures the hinge without screws.
This product therefore requires the complete INSERTA drilling pattern and not just a single 35mm cup hole.
Mounting plate required
This product is supplied as one hinge. A cabinet-side mounting plate is required and is sold separately. A commonly used option is the Blum 0mm cruciform cam mounting plate – HI173710. Select the mounting-plate height and fixing method required for your cabinet construction and desired door overlay.

No. The INSERTA cup fixing locks into a correctly prepared 35mm and 8mm drilling pattern without screws.
Is a mounting plate included?
No. The hinge is supplied individually and requires a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, which must be ordered separately.
Can the opening angle be reduced?
Yes. The compatible Blum 70T3553 opening-angle stop reduces the opening angle from 110° to approximately 86°.
