Blum 71T0750 CLIP top Mini 94° Inset Screw-On Hinge

The Blum 71T0750 is a sprung mini concealed hinge for a cabinet door that closes inside the opening rather than overlaying the cabinet sides. Its fully cranked arm and compact 26 mm screw-on cup can suit small inset doors or narrow timber frames, provided there is enough sound material around the bore and fixing screws.

Inset-door planning

Inset doors need a consistent operating gap. Select a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate separately and check actual door thickness, cup drilling distance, plate spacing and cabinet construction against Blum planning information. The existing planning guidance for this model states a 3–5 mm cup drilling distance and 16–32 mm front thickness, with a trial application from 23 mm. Its standard inset mounting-plate fixing position is set back by door thickness plus 1.5 mm; confirm the complete fitting geometry before drilling multiple doors.

Sprung closing and screw-on fixing

The spring draws the door closed, but the hinge does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft close. Blum identifies the separately supplied 970A1002 drilled-in damper for compatible mini-hinge installations; verify cabinet construction and damping drill positions first. Fit the 26 mm cup to the correctly prepared door with suitable screws. The hinge arm then attaches to and releases from its mounting plate via the tool-free CLIP connection. A third locating pin assists stable connection.
