For deeper shelves that demand greater wall embedment, the Invisible Shelf Support in 12 x 160mm delivers the extra reach needed to hold wider boards securely while keeping all hardware completely out of sight. Like its shorter counterpart, this support screws directly into the wall and accepts the shelf over its protruding rod — creating a clean floating shelf effect with no visible bracket, no exposed fixings, and no compromise on strength.

The additional 40mm of length over the 120mm version makes this the right choice for deeper shelving boards where a longer embedment depth improves stability and load distribution. The knurled section allows for precise vertical adjustment using a standard SW 10 open-ended spanner before the shelf is pushed flush to the wall. Load Bearing

Load bearing capacity is dependent on shelf material, shelf depth, and the properties and condition of the wall. Always ensure fixings are appropriate for the substrate and expected load. More than 2 supports per shelf may be required for heavier or wider shelves.

Installation

1. Drill a 10mm diameter hole and insert the supplied wall plug
2. Slip the washer onto the screw thread
3. Screw the shelf support into the wall plug
4. Install the shelf onto the support as far as the knurled section
5. Use an SW 10 open-ended wrench for vertical adjustment
6. Push the shelf all the way to the wall to complete installation
