Blum 71T3590 CLIP top 110° Overlay INSERTA Hinge
The Blum 71T3590 is a sprung concealed hinge for an overlay cabinet door. Its straight arm gives a 110° opening and positions the closed door over the cabinet side. The nickel-plated hinge uses a 35 mm INSERTA cup that locks into an accurately prepared door without conventional cup-fixing screws. One purchase supplies one hinge.
INSERTA fixing and cabinet mounting
Prepare the door using the exact Blum drilling pattern: the existing model data specifies a 35 mm cup bore, two 8 mm fixing holes on 45 mm centres, 13 mm cup boring depth and 3–7 mm drilling distance. Check current Blum planning before drilling. INSERTA is a tool-free cup-locking system, unlike knock-in dowels or a screw-on cup. The hinge arm separately clips without tools onto a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, which must be selected and purchased separately. The cabinet-side plate itself still needs appropriate fixing.
Closing and alignment
The closing spring pulls the door shut; this hinge does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft close. The spiral screw gives depth adjustment; side adjustment is ±2 mm and depth adjustment +3/−2 mm in the existing technical data. Height is adjusted through the selected plate. For conventional cup screws see the 71T3550 screw-on hinge; for pressed dowels see the 71T3580 knock-in hinge. Verify door drilling and hinge compatibility before substitutions.
