Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION 110° Knock-In Hinge (71B3580)

The Blum 71B3580 is engineered specifically for high-efficiency kitchen manufacturing and commercial workshop assembly. Featuring integrated expanding split dowels, this full overlay hinge eliminates the need for manual wood screws, allowing trade professionals to secure the hinge cup rapidly using a specialised press or knock-in tool.

Once fitted to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate, the cabinet door can be attached and removed without tools. Three-dimensional adjustment allows accurate door alignment after installation.

Important: Installation Requirement

This is a specialised trade variant. It requires cabinet doors to be pre-drilled with two 8mm pilot holes alongside the standard 35mm hinge cup hole on 45mm fixing centres. If you are replacing hardware on standard hand-drilled kitchen doors without 8mm dowel holes, please order the Blum 71B3550 screw-on hinge instead.

Knock-in cup installation

The 71B3580 requires a 35mm hinge-cup drilling and two 8mm fixing holes positioned on 45mm centres. The steel dowels are pressed into the prepared holes to secure the hinge cup to the door.

Note: the knock-in boss is normally installed using suitable hinge-insertion equipment or a press-in ram. It is different from Blum INSERTA, which uses a locking flap for tool-free cup installation without insertion machinery.
