Blum 71B960A CLIP top BLUMOTION 95° Aluminium-Frame Hinge

The Blum 71B960A is a nickel-plated, sprung soft-close hinge for narrow aluminium-profile cabinet doors in a dual or half-overlay application. Two doors share a central partition and each covers part of it; “dual” describes the cabinet layout, not the quantity supplied. Integrated BLUMOTION controls closing and can be switched off on an individual hinge if required.

Plan the aluminium frame

The hinge has a shaped screw-on boss for a correctly prepared aluminium door profile. It is not a conventional round 35 mm cup hinge for a timber or MDF door. Check the actual aluminium profile width, thickness, routing pattern, desired central gap and mounting-plate height against the current Blum planning instructions before machining. The hinge arm clips onto a separately purchased compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools.
