Blum 71B950A CLIP top BLUMOTION Aluminium-Frame Hinge

The Blum 71B950A is a sprung 95° overlay hinge for a narrow aluminium-profile cabinet door. The shaped screw-on boss attaches to a correctly routed aluminium frame; this is not a standard round 35 mm cup hinge for timber or MDF doors. Integrated BLUMOTION slows the closing movement and can be switched off on an individual hinge when required.

Fit the correct frame and plate

An overlay door closes in front of the cabinet side. Its exact position and clearances depend on the aluminium profile dimensions, cabinet and chosen mounting plate. Check the current Blum planning dimensions for the particular frame before machining it. Secure the boss to the prepared profile using the specified fixing screws, then connect the arm to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools.
