Blum 70T7650.TL CLIP Top 155° Half-Overlay TIP-ON Hinge

The Blum 70T7650.TL is an unsprung CLIP top wide-angle hinge for dual or half-overlay cabinet doors. Its free-moving action is designed for handleless doors operated by a suitable Blum TIP-ON push-to-open unit.

The hinge opens to 155°, providing wider cabinet access than standard 107° or 110° hinges. It is particularly useful for wide-angle furniture applications, special cabinet constructions and selected mitred-door installations.

Important: this hinge has no closing spring and no BLUMOTION soft-close mechanism. An appropriate TIP-ON unit is required to push the handleless door open and hold it closed.

Dual and half-overlay application

The cranked hinge arm is designed for installations where two cabinet doors share the same central partition. Each door covers part of the shared cabinet panel while retaining clearance for the adjoining door.

The final overlay and operating gap depend on the mounting-plate height, cup-drilling distance, front thickness and door-edge profile. A trial application is recommended before drilling multiple doors.

Designed for TIP-ON handleless doors

The 70T7650.TL has free movement without a closing spring. When the door is pressed, a compatible TIP-ON unit releases and pushes the front open far enough to be grasped by hand.

Because the hinge is unsprung, it should not be described as self-closing or BLUMOTION compatible. Choose the correct TIP-ON unit and installation method for the cabinet construction, door size and door weight.

155° wide-angle opening

The extended multi-link hinge arm allows the door to open substantially wider than a standard cabinet hinge. This improves access to the cabinet interior and can reduce interference when loading or removing larger items.

Door clearance must still be checked carefully. In a dual application, a 155° opening does not automatically provide the zero-protrusion performance associated with the full-overlay version.

Screw-on cup installation

The hinge uses a conventional screw-on 35mm cup with a minimum drilling depth of 11.7mm. The cup-drilling distance can be set between 3mm and 8mm according to the required overlay and door profile.

The two cup-fixing holes are positioned on 45mm centres with a 9.5mm offset from the cup centreline. Suitable screws must be selected for the door material and ordered separately.

CLIP top fitting and adjustment

The hinge arm clips onto a compatible Blum mounting plate without tools. This allows the cabinet door to be attached or removed without undoing the mounting-plate screws.

Side, depth and height adjustment enable accurate alignment after installation. The available height adjustment depends on the selected mounting plate.
