Blum CLIP top BLUMOTION 110° Overlay Screw-On Hinge – Onyx Black

The Blum 71B3550 CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge combines reliable concealed-hinge operation with a distinctive Onyx Black finish. Designed for standard overlay cabinet doors, it offers a versatile 110° opening angle and integrated BLUMOTION soft closing for quiet, controlled door movement.

The dark Onyx finish provides a coordinated appearance inside black, charcoal and other dark-coloured cabinets where a conventional nickel hinge would remain visible. Its 35mm steel hinge cup uses a traditional screw-on fixing, making it suitable for new installations, replacement work and bespoke furniture production.

The hinge connects to a compatible Blum CLIP mounting plate without tools. Once installed, side, depth and height adjustment allow the door position and surrounding gaps to be set accurately.

Screw-on cup installation

The hinge requires a 35mm cup drilling approximately 13mm deep. Its two screw-fixing positions are arranged on 45mm centres, with the fixing-hole line offset 9.5mm from the centre of the cup drilling.

The screw-on system is particularly convenient for replacement work and installations where a standard screw-fixing pattern is preferred. Unlike knock-in and INSERTA hinges, it does not require 8mm dowel holes.

Mounting plate required

This product is supplied as one hinge. A compatible Blum CLIP cabinet-side mounting plate is required and must be purchased separately.
