PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Blum 75T4100 CLIP Top 94° Overlay Glass Door Hinge
The Blum 75T4100 is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge designed specifically for full-overlay glass cabinet doors. It provides a 94° opening angle and is suitable for drilled frameless glass fronts between 4.5mm and 7mm thick.
The hinge’s internal spring pulls the glass door into the closed position. This makes it self-closing, but it does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close.
Important: this is not a no-drill glass hinge. The glass door requires an accurately manufactured 26mm fixing hole. Glass drilling and edge preparation should always be completed by a suitably equipped glass processor before the glass is toughened.
Full-overlay glass-door application
The straight hinge arm is intended for an overlay application, where the closed glass door covers most of the cabinet side panel. It is suitable for display cabinets, glass-fronted furniture, kitchen wall units and other cabinets using frameless glass doors.
The final overlay depends on the mounting-plate height, drilling position and cabinet construction. A trial assembly should be completed before producing multiple doors.
Drilled-glass screw fixing
The hinge uses a glass-specific screw-on boss rather than the conventional 35mm cup used in timber cabinet doors. The glass requires a 26mm diameter hole, with a permitted tolerance of +0.2/−0mm.
The recommended distance from the outside edge of the 26mm drilling to the edge of the glass door is 5.5–7mm. The correct drilling position must be confirmed from Blum’s planning information for the required overlay.
The boss-fixing screws are supplied with the hinge. Tightening and glass preparation must follow Blum’s instructions to avoid damaging the door.
CLIP top installation and adjustment
The hinge arm clips onto a compatible Blum mounting plate, allowing the glass door to be attached or removed from the cabinet without undoing the mounting screws.
Three-dimensional adjustment and spiral-screw depth adjustment allow the door position and gaps to be aligned accurately after installation.
