PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Blum 75T4300 CLIP Top 94° Inset Glass Door Hinge

The Blum 75T4300 is a sprung CLIP top concealed hinge designed for inset glass cabinet doors. An inset glass door sits within the cabinet opening rather than covering the outside edges of the cabinet side panels.

The hinge opens to 94° and is suitable for drilled frameless glass fronts between 4.5mm and 7mm thick. Its internal spring pulls the glass door into the closed position and holds it securely closed.

Important: the Blum 75T4300 does not contain integrated BLUMOTION soft-close. It is also not a no-drill hinge—the glass requires an accurately manufactured 26mm fixing hole.

Inset glass-door application

The fully cranked hinge arm positions the glass door inside the cabinet opening. This creates a clean display-cabinet appearance with the glass front contained between the cabinet sides.

An appropriate operating gap must be allowed around the door so that the glass does not contact the cabinet while opening. The mounting-plate fixing position must be set back according to the glass thickness, hinge-boss dimensions and required reveal.

Always check Blum’s inset planning information and complete a trial assembly before manufacturing several glass doors.

Drilled-glass screw fixing

The hinge uses a glass-specific screw-on boss rather than the conventional 35mm cup found on timber-door hinges. The glass requires a 26mm diameter drilling with a tolerance of +0.2/−0mm.

The recommended distance from the outside edge of the 26mm drilling to the edge of the glass door is 5.5–7mm. Drilling accuracy is particularly important for an inset application because the glass must maintain an even reveal around the cabinet opening.

The boss-fixing screws are included with the hinge. Glass drilling and edge preparation should be completed by a suitably equipped glass processor before the door is toughened.

CLIP top fitting and adjustment

The hinge arm clips onto a compatible Blum mounting plate, allowing the glass door to be attached or removed without undoing the mounting screws fixed to the cabinet.

Three-dimensional adjustment and Blum’s spiral-screw depth adjustment help produce an even reveal around the inset glass door after installation.

Compatible products and alternatives

A compatible Blum CLIP top mounting plate must be ordered separately. The plate position and height must suit the required inset reveal.

For a glass door covering most of the cabinet side, use the Blum 75T4100 94° overlay glass-door hinge.

For two glass doors sharing a central cabinet partition, use the Blum 75T4200 94° half-overlay glass-door hinge.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Blum 75T4300 have soft-close?

No. It contains a spring that pulls the door closed, but it does not have an integrated BLUMOTION soft-close damper.

What is an inset glass-door hinge?

An inset hinge positions the closed glass door inside the cabinet opening rather than over the outside edges of the cabinet sides.

Does the glass need to be drilled?

Yes. The 75T4300 requires a 26mm diameter hole in the glass and must not be described as a no-drill hinge.

When should the glass drilling be completed?

The drilling and edge preparation should normally be completed by a specialist glass processor before the door is toughened. Toughened glass cannot normally be drilled afterwards.

What glass thickness is suitable?

The hinge is designed for frameless glass cabinet doors between 4.5mm and 7mm thick.

Are the glass-fixing screws included?

Yes. The screws used to secure the hinge boss to the prepared glass door are included.

Is the mounting plate included?

No. A compatible Blum CLIP top mounting plate must be selected and ordered separately.

Is the decorative cover cap included?

No. A suitable glass-hinge boss cover cap is an optional accessory and must be ordered separately.

Is the hinge sold as a pair?

No. Each quantity ordered supplies one Blum 75T4300 hinge.
