PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The 826 mm ExiSound Concealex A8100 Superior is an automatic drop seal that fits into a routed recess at the bottom of a suitable door. Its satin anodised aluminium casing holds a self-levelling, sound-insulating TPE seal. Check the 35 × 14 mm profile, door construction and finished length before ordering.

Length selection and fitting

Measure the door width before cutting. The supplied fitting instructions specify a profile length equal to the measured door width minus 5.5 mm, subject to the permitted trimming limit and endplate preparation. For this 826 mm seal, up to 150 mm may be cut from the end opposite the plunger. Route a 14 mm wide × 35 mm deep slot, prepare the endplates as instructed and place the plunger on the hinge side.
