Choose the right Button-fix system

Type 1 — face-to-face panel connection with a 3mm or 8mm gap. Demountable. Surface-mounted or semi-rebated. Ideal for wall panels and shelving.

Type 1 Bonded — bonds to panels of any thickness without screw-fixing. Suitable for signage and exhibition displays.

Type 1 Flush — fully recessed into 18mm panels with no gap between surfaces. Ideal for furniture builds, kitchen cabinets, feature walls and narrow slats.

Type 2 — connects panels at 90° or to a frame with push-on engagement. No clearance needed above or to the side. Ideal for service access behind appliances, electrics or pipework.

Type 2 Compact — smaller version of Type 2 with push-on and drop-down engagement. Best for space-limited applications such as service access windows.
